Things to do in Gothenburg during your visit

Gothenburg is Sweden´s second largest city, located on the beautiful west coast. Gothenburg offers a wide variety of activities for you as a tourist. A pleasant day and evening hang out, is the famous street that's simply called 'The Avenue', especially on warm summer nights. And during GBG Classic weekend we will for sure have a nice weather. GBG Classic tournament is held on Heden which is a stone’s throw from this famous restaurant and shopping street.



When you visit Gothenburg you simply can not miss out our amusement park called Liseberg. It is the biggest amusement park in northern Europe and will satisfy all your needs when it comes to roller coasters and that sort of things. A must see when you visit Gothenburg.

Gothenburg is also famous for its good seafood and many restaurants offers seafood on their menus. You should also pay a visit into Feskekörka “Fish Church” which is a market hall for seafood. Feskekörka is located by the Rosenlund canal. You could also try the shrimp sandwich in the Hotel Gothia Towers. Scandinavia's largest and Gothenburg's tallest hotel. In their top floor restaurant Heaven 23 you can both enjoy your shrimp sandwich and their unbeatable view over the city. Hotel Gothia Towers you find just near the amusement park Liseberg. You can not miss it due to the fact of its nice architecture and size.

A famous tourist attraction is to take a trip with the sightseeing boat’s called “Paddan”. Paddan is a guided boat tour in three languages from a waterside perspective. A one hour tour which departures from Kungsportsplatsen.

If you like gaming and gambling, pay a visit to Casino Cosmopol. A short walk from the city center, towards the waterfront on the west side called Packhusplatsen. Open seven days a week between 13.00 – 05.00.
